Most people tend to stop watching movies when the credits start to roll.  This leaves your iTunes movies with out-of-date play counts, especially when you choose to replay the movie from the beginning rather than resume playing.  Now you can easily reset movies, TV shows, and more using current playhead positions as a guide.
